Safe Gene Seeds (India) Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, is a research-based organization with strong roots in the agro-industry for over three decades. Led by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals, the company is committed to developing innovative and sustainable breeding solutions for field crops. We have well-established and systemized R&D, production, processing, packaging, and marketing activities for field crops, and our products are marketed under the SAFE GENE SEEDS brand in several states across India.

The company has a well-established R&D division with a rich collection of diverse germplasm and parental lines in maize and paddy. Our product portfolio includes nearly 40 hybrids & Varieties in paddy and Maize, along including released paddy varieties.
Currently, we are focusing on paddy research to identify and develop rice varieties with enhanced nutritional qualities, including high levels of zinc, iron, and dietary fibre. Our objective is to develop elite rice lines that combine high grain yield, superior nutritional quality, disease resistance, and wide adaptability across different agro-climatic regions.
